LA-via-Aotearoa songwriter BOYBOY aka Sam McCarthy has unveiled his debut self-titled collection of neo-pop after a radiant run of contagious singles. No stranger to local listeners, McCarthy was a prime mover behind groups Goodnight Nurse and Kids Of 88, his thirteen-track solo record dives deep into a mirror-glass universe of bouyant digital pop and features guest contributions from musical pals Chelsea Jade, Leroy Clampit and Justin Pilbrow.
