Gang Gang Dance Return With Dazed Single 'Lotus'

It's been a year of great artists coming out of the woodwork after long periods of dormancy, with The Breeders dropping their excellent comeback album All Nerve, David Byrne unveiling his first solo collection in fourteen years American Utopia, celebrated rap trio Dr Octagon re-emerging from outer space with their first record together in twenty two years, local swamp rockers Thought Creature ready to drop their first album in a decade Ocean Dream, and enigmatic US duo Royal Trux jumping back in the studio after a dog's age. Now it's the turn of New York genre-mashers Gang Gang Dance, who have returned after a seven year hiatus with 'Lotus', the debut outpouring from their latest album Kazuashita. Sounding both timeless and futuristic, the new song seduces listeners with woozily exotic electronics and other-dimensional vocals from singer Lizzi Bougatsos, listen up below...
