Stef Animal Unveils Haunting Video 'The Ghost'

Wellington-based electronic artist Stef Animal (of The Golden Awesome and Mestar) has shared a short animated video for her haunting tune 'The Ghost', drawn from the artist's excellent debut album Top Gear. The DIY clip directed by Spencer Hall stuck to the album's vintage equipment theme by using a Videonics Video Mixer and a Sony XV-T600 Picture Computer, along with a projector and a sheet to conjure the spectral tune's accompanying imagery. The track itself was made using a Jaycar Waveform Generator, which can be picked up as a kit for the very affordable price of $22.90 and is easily assembled as long as you're a bit of a wizard with a soldering iron.
