Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks + Kim Gordon Share Duet 'Refute'

Pavement frontman Stephen Malkmus has a new album Sparkle Hard out soon with his longtime collaborators The Jicks and has unveiled the latest tune from that collection 'Refute', a pleasantly rambling duet with iconic Sonic Youth member Kim Gordon. A country strum-a-thon, the bouncey track is brightened up by Gordon's cheerfully crackling guest vocals, spinning a tale of "a woman who dared / to fall head first for her young au pair," while the chorus encourages romantically-inclined listeners to "marry on." 'Sparkle Hard' is out Friday 18th May via Matador Records.
