Live Photos: Dictaphone Blues, Two Cartoons - Panhead Viaduct, Auckland

Two local exponents of off-kilter guitar-pop converged upon Panhead Viaduct's stage in Auckland's Viaduct Harbour last Friday, Dictaphone Blues and visiting Dunedin-ites Two Cartoons. Both artists have fresh releases under their belt, Dictaphone Blues recently unveiled their stadium-sized single 'Elastic Meditation' in preparation for their forthcoming latest EP out in May, and Two Cartoons dropped their snazzy latest four song collection The Great British Hangover in November. Tireless photographer Dave Simpson was on the scene to document the occasion, he also took snaps of Auckland indie quartet Model Train Wreck at their EP release party that same night (see here for those pics)!
