Caught Live: Thought Creature Play Three Songs On Radio One 91FM

Ex-Wellington swamp-grunge-dance artists Thought Creature recently wrapped up their whirlwind reunion tour of Aotearoa, leaving hazy memories and an otherworldly new album Ocean Dream in their wake. We have no idea when the team of Will Rattray and Danny Brady will next bring their fuzzed-out sounds to your ears, but are lucky the fine folk at Dunedin's Radio One 91FM documented the group's re-emergence with a mind-melting live-to-air studio performance. The duo were joined by Andy Frost of Coyote / Tiger Tones on drums and Jelena Mirceta of Full Moon Fiasco on synth, and rattled off a dreamy trifecta of new and old tunes - 'Talk In Tongues', 'One Day I Turned Into A Spider' and 'Paradise'. Rattray and Mirceta have since returned to their Berlin headquarters, while Brady's Dunedin-based group Death & The Maiden just unveiled their sublime latest album Wisteria.
