Grow Room-affiliated group Stay Foolish have dropped All Day, an untamed debut collection of jammed out tunes by the power trio of Maxwell Valeur, Seb Soto and John Murray (joined live at times by Larsen from WhyFi). The six track EP is a melting pot of in-the-red guitars and hyper-energised rhythms, reminiscent at times of Japanese improvised rock masters High Rise and Musica Transonic, or a funk-infused Dead C on a party bender. It's the furious flipside to some of the downbeat material recently emanating from the Auckland-based collective. Valeur dished the dirt on the band's new collection, saying "Stay Foolish is a continuous exploration of improvised foolishness, created with a simple ethos, noisy and no rules This album is a lo fi low key EP recorded in a single take on a murky night at Fulljames Studios."

The group will be playing in Badcorporation at Auckland's Borderline Festival in June, and shared a call-to-arms statement via social media to accompany the release of All Day...

"A little while ago we participated in this project as part of the Badcorporation Urban Youth Departments youth outreach program in one of Auckland CBDs biggest problem areas, which we are in the process of revitalising and monetising into a newly profitable and marketable hotspot for developers, entrepreneurs and hobbyists alike, Karangahape Road.

Stay Foolish yall"

'All Day' is out now via new local label Akltapes.
