Death Grips Drop Distorted Track 'Black Paint'

California-based experimental hip hop crew Death Grips have shared a fresh cut called ‘Black Paint’. The track features fuzz-gnarled kick drums at a mid-paced march, accented by siren-esque synths and a dense and chaotic arrangement, with MC Ride’s furious and often indecipherable vocal delivery completing the musical mural (handily, the band has included a lyric sheet on their Youtube channel).

The aural assault is lifted from the group’s forthcoming album Year of the Snitch, which features contributions from Tool bassist Justin Chancellor and, somehow, Shrek director Andrew Adamson. What a time to be alive…
