Chromatics Unveil Cinematic Single 'Black Walls' + Video
US electronic artists Chromatics were spotted last year performing on the set of David Lynch's television event Twin Peaks: The Return at rough 'n' tumble fictional venue The Roadhouse, the perfect context for the noir-ish band to work their magic. Chromatics have now shared their first single in nearly two years 'Black Walls', an intoxicating taste of the group's long-promised upcoming album Dear Tommy, which was reportedly delayed due to producer Johnny Jewel destroying the original recordings following a near-death experience then re-recording them. The self-directed video for 'Black Walls' dives deep into Chromatics' signature world of sound - a hazy late night dreamscape of dazzling mirrorballs, moody synthesisers, melodramatic guitars and singer Ruth Radelet's other-dimensional vocals. Experience the single below...
'Dear Tommy' is out this spring via Italians Do It Better.
