Dunedin's Smith Shares Haunting Collection 'The Gradient'

Dunedin-based sound explorer Smith (aka Emilie Smith of Negative Nancies and Richard Maybe's Passion For Nature) has shared The Gradient, a six track solo EP of textural excursions and otherworldly sonic activities set against the artist's haunting vocals. Described as a "collection of live audio memos and field recordings," the tracks were originally recorded during 2014 and 2015 and have now been unveiled to all listeners for the first time. A captivating live performer, Smith has recently been spotted sharing South Island stages with visiting artists Rashad Becker and Baliphonics, wrap your ears around The Gradient below...
