Bully Announce Debut New Zealand Show

Thursday 7th June, 2018 8:31AM

Nashville four piece Bully are heading our way for their first ever New Zealand show at Auckland's Whammy Bar in July. On the ascendant since their debut album Feels Like dropped in 2015, their powerful 2017 follow up record Losing (Sub Pop) has drawn accolades from the likes of Pitchfork and UPROXX. Here are the details...

Press release:

"I love Bully the way I love Sebadoh, Dinosaur Jr and the Breeders." - Patty Schemel

Bully formed in 2013 in Nashville, released their first album in 2015 and have not stopped since! They released their ferocious and powerful sophomore album Losing (Sub Pop) in October 2017 to critical acclaim, with UPROXX naming it one of the "best rock albums of 2017."

"Singer-guitarist Alicia Bognanno sounds tensed and ready to strike on the Nashville-based grunge torchbearers’ second album (and first for Sub Pop)." - Pitchfork

The Nashville 4-piece is headed by Alicia Bognanno, who’s songwriting not only cuts to core but has a vocal snarl unlike any other. She also recorded and engineered the latest album.

Don’t miss your chance to see one of the most exciting live bands on the road right now when the group play Whammy! Bar this July.
