Gang Gang Dance Drop Swirling Single 'Young Boy (Marika in Amerika)'
Thursday 7th June, 2018 1:42PM
Back in action after a seven year layover, New York genre-mashers Gang Gang Dance have been peeling off singles in the lead up to their long-awaited album Kazuashita (meaning “peace tomorrow” in Japanese), their first long player since 2011's Eye Contact. Their latest tune 'Young Boy (Marika in Amerika)' is a mournful ode to victims of police violence and an eclectic collision of pounding beats and middle-eastern electronic melodies - sounding like futuristic club exotica for a doomed megalopolis. Kazuashita is out later this month, listen to 'Young Boy (Marika in Amerika)' here...
'Kazuashita' is out Friday 22nd June via 4AD.
