Press release:
Great North are returning to New Zealand with a five-date tour in July - their last for the forseeable future.
It’s been a busy eighteen months for the band, with two European tours and the release of two albums – The Golden Age and The Caravan Recordings. For this homecoming tour, Hayden and Rachel Donnell reunite with bandmates Matthew Hutching (pedal steel) and Dale Campbell (vocals, keys) to showcase new and familiar songs, and share stories about how much cheaper dairy products are in the UK. They’ll be joined along the way by Reb Fountain, Tom Cunliffe, Brendan & Alison Turner, and Grawlixes.
These will be the last Great North shows for some time, as they pause to take stock, take a breath, and have a lie down. They invite you to join them at your venue of choice for a final burst of melancholy and harmonica.
