A.C. Freazy Unveils Dazzling Video 'Only One'
Auckland singer and producer A.C. Freazy has followed through on the promise of his toe-tapping recent tune 'Only One' with a soft focus accompanying video directed by Julian Vares. Like a minimalist set right out of an early eighties Chaz Jankel music video, or dare we say a late 00's New Zealand synth-pop group, it's amazing what you can achieve with a backdrop comprised of sparkling sheets, an empty window frame, some dry ice and a few well-placed plants. We can't wait to discover what other magical items A.C. Freazy (real name Alex Freer) has up his sleeve, you can catch the live band playing alongside musical pals Spawts, Trip Pony and Daffodils this Saturday for the Whakaaro all ages event at Kingsland's Trinity Hall. The artist shared a few words about his new video...
"Julian and I shared a love for videos that were obviously and transparently filmed in a studio, and I feel like the setting adds to the off-kilter and ethereal nature of the song. After some turmoil (including an asbestos scare) we are very proud to present this to you!"
