Neil & Liam Finn Unveil Spooky Single 'Ghosts' + Video
Aotearoa pop family duo Neil & Liam Finn have unleashed an eerie yet endearing new tune titled 'Ghosts', drawn from their highly anticipated collaborative album Lightsleeper. Not unlike their previous clip for the record's lead single 'Back To Life', the accompanying video for 'Ghosts' draws on the creative talents of the extended Finn family but takes an entirely new tack, presenting a selection of clay heads sculpted by the musical household. The song itself is equal parts creepy and whimsical as a surprisingly raggedy-voiced Liam Finn trades verses with a seraphic-sounding Neil and Sharon Finn, over the top of a pleasingly lopsided groove - conveying vibes more along the lines of Neil's recent work with Delaney Davidson than his new role as member of Fleetwood Mac. The crew have described their song via social media as "not a 'single' or 'music video' as such... but a bit of fun. I think Sharon is actually singing 'I don't believe in men' at the end. Take from it what you will." Get spooked out by 'Ghosts' here...
'Lightsleeper' is out Friday 24th August via Inertia Music.
