Aphex Twin Drops Single 'T69 Collapse' + Animated Video
Celebrated UK electronic artist Aphex Twin aka Richard D. James has unveiled his highly-teased new single titled 'T69 Collapse' accompanied by a visually furious animated video directed by Weirdcore, which comes along with a stern "warning: contains strobing" statement. The clip was reportedly yanked from its scheduled debut on US TV network Adult Swim last night, due to it failing the Harding Test for triggering epilepsy - so watch with caution! The instrumental track twists and turns through a lucid dreamscape of ear-tickling synths and fractal-like percussive flourishes, complemented by the video's equally impossibly detailed digital surfaces, and is the lead tune from Aphex Twin's forthcoming five track The Collapse EP.
