Kurt Vile Drops Single 'Loading Zones' + Video

Friday 17th August, 2018 11:16AM

US songsmith Kurt Vile has shared ‘Loading Zones’, his first solo material since B’lieve I’m Going Down... in 2015. The guitar-driven strum-fest is classic Vile, with him recounting going about his daily activities, playing by his own rules and parking his car wherever he freakin' pleases.

The widescreen tune is accompanied by a video directed by Drew Saracco and shot in Kurt Vile's hometown of Philadelphia. The clip shows the artist avoiding salty meter maids played by Kevin Corrigan (Superbad, The Departed, Goodfellas) and Matt Korvette (the frontman of hardcore punks / noise rockers Pissed Jeans) and generally throwing automobile etiquette to the wind. Is this the first taste of more solo material to come? Check out ‘Loading Zones’ below...
