J Mascis Announces New Album 'Elastic Days' + Shares Single 'See You At The Movies'

Dinosaur Jnr sonic auteur J Mascis has announced his first solo album in four years Elastic Days, and has unveiled that record's cinematic lead single 'See You At The Movies'. The new song sees Mascis in reflective guitar-pop mode, his instantly identifiable zen-like vocals rambling gracefully over chugging strings, intermittently spicing things up with the gentlest of guitar freak outs. Elastic Days is due out in November and features twelve tracks written and recorded by iconic alt-rock multi-instrumentalist, with special guest contributors including Mark Mulcahy, Pall Jenkins (Black Heart Procession), and Zoë Randell (Luluc). 'Elastic Days' is out Friday 9th November via Sub Pop.
