Divide And Dissolve to Support UMO for New Zealand Tour

Wednesday 22nd August, 2018 11:07AM
Australian drone / doom duo Divide and Dissolve have announced they'll be supporting Ruban Nielson's Unknown Mortal Orchestra's on their four-date tour of Aotearoa in September. The two-piece describe their powerful work as "designed to decolonise, decentralise, and destroy white supremacy," incorporating saxophone and sonic effects into their politically-charged take on fuzzed-out, snail-paced pentatonic-focused riffs. The band shared their thoughts around the tour in a statement..

“We are extremely excited to be supporting and touring with UMO in Aotearoa. We love UMO’s work and feel connected to the complexities and expansive sounds of UMOs music. We are looking forward to bringing what we have to offer to the shows and are stoked to meet the band and see them perform! We feel honoured to be invited to Aotearoa for the first time.”
