Oamaru's number one noise punk trio The Trendees have swiftly followed up on their epochal sophomore album Nightmare City with an enigmatically titled five track collection titled TRENDEESXXX. The furious tunes on offer have no time for anything like fancy song titles, functionally named '1' through '5' they document The Trendees at their rawest, singer Matt Plunkett's pointed lyricism snaking through Eden Bradfield and Austen McMillan's unchained riffage and bang-on-a-can percussive thwaps.
