Watch Fanfickk's Animated Video 'Cotton Candy'

Auckland-based singer and producer Fanficck has unveiled a pastel-coloured animated video for her effervescent latest single 'Cotton Candy'. The cute clip created by Megaceros pairs Fanfickk's bouncy electronic melodies with whimsically rendered, slightly mutated cartoon birds hanging out together and getting up to antics. It sounds like a summer pop anthem in waiting, we caught up with Fanfickk who kindly took time out to share some words on the video....

"I found the animator, Megaceros, on Tumblr. We both love round, cute things so it seemed to be a good fit! The birds with hands were her creepy brainchild, and the video took three months to complete - she worked on it outside of her day job. My musical plans for 2018 are to release more singles, possibly even an EP if my attention span holds. I also have a few collaborations with international artists on the cards. My dream is to make the most annoying song ever, a la 'Crazy Frog', but I'm not quite there yet."
