Wellington's Slow Share Dreamy Video 'Burning Dust'
Slow are the Wellington-based duo of Lucy Beeler (Lttle Phnx, Feng) and Fraser Austin (Secrets, Feelings), pooling their considerable talents to conjure seemingly infinite oceans of sound. They've dropped an appropriately time-lagged clip created by Austin for their demo 'Burning Dust', a dreamy intersection of fuzzed-out shoegazey guitars and and haunting vocals they describe as "syrupy but not too sickly sweet, wavy echos of sound encourage you to space out to the tune of longing." You can catch Slow playing at post-punk / dream-pop unit DEAF's 'Truancy' video release party in mid-September at Caroline, let your mind unravel to 'Burning Dust' here...
Slow are playing alongside DEAF and Glove at Wellington's Caroline on Friday 21st September.
