US songwriter Waxahatchee aka Katie Crutchfield has shared a six track offering titled Great Thunder, ahead of her forthcoming visit to Aotearoa alongside fellow tunesmith Kevin Morby. The collection is full of stripped back, piano-driven arrangements such as opening number 'Singer's No Star', a contrast to the more elaborate and grandiose works showcased on her 2017 album Out In The Storm.
