Waikato surf-rock scallywags The Hollow Grinders have unleashed their wig-flipping latest album Surfin' Taniwha, and are celebrating at Hamilton's Nivara Lounge this Saturday with The Cthulus, Landlords and Halcyon Birds. Collecting fourteen timeless tunes into one monstrous wave-riding package, Surfin' Taniwha sees the summer party-starting instrumental ensemble take a trip with the 'Mazda Boyz', wipe out on the 'Piha Death-Rip', sip on some 'Skunk Juice', hang loose at the 'Torture Convention' and more.
