Mudhoney Share New Album 'Digital Garbage'
Seattle grunge-rock legends Mudhoney have dropped their first studio album in five years Digital Garbage, following hot on the heels of their first ever live collection LiE (Live In Europe). Singer Mark Arm's voice has taken on a smokey Iggy Pop-like tone which suits the darkly humorous songs nicely, seeing the band firmly back in balls-to-the-wall rifftastic mode - it's hard to argue with song titles like 'Hey Neanderfuck' and 'Kill Yourself Live'. The long-running four-piece (it's their 30th anniversary this year) address contemporary digital culture with curmudgeonly glee, fans of the trailblazing four-piece will have a tonne of fun with this one. 'Digital Garbage' is out now via Sub Pop.
