Watch Pictureplane's Mind-Warping Video 'B.D.S.M.'
US electronic artist Pictureplane aka Travis Egedy has unveiled a video dripping with dark digital magick for his industrial dance track 'B.D.S.M.' The song is drawn from the singer and producer's long-awaited new album Degenerate, which features special guests including GBC-member Wicca Phase Springs Eternal and is dedicated "to Colin Ward and Gustav Åhr [Lil Peep] and the victims of the Ghost Ship Fire. For all the freaks, outsiders, artists, and social deviants. The street trash renegades, the goth poets, the revolutionaries, the lunatic fringe, the ravers and the basement philosophers".
Directed by Egedy and Van Der Borght Bjornus and shot inside of a prison dungeon from the 13th century in Ghent, Belgium, Pictureplane's gothic clip features artist / dancer Dolly Bing Bing and utilises the city's historic architecture to mind-warping effect. It's been a minute since the fringe-dwelling artist tore up dancefloors in Aotearoa - he was last here for 2013's Camp A Low Hum festival - crossed fingers he'll be back our way soon. Experience 'B.D.S.M.' here...
'Degenerate' is out now via Alien Body.
