The Free Nationals ft. Unknown Mortal Orchestra Share Single 'Beauty & Essex'
California hip hop artist Anderson .Paak's celebrated live band The Free Nationals have dropped a dreamy single titled 'Beauty & Essex' featuring vocals from local psychedelic rock / soul superstar Ruban Nielson (recording as Unknown Mortal Orchestra) and rising Canadian R&B singer Daniel Caesar. Nielson and Caesar trade soulful verses over intoxicating grooves laid down by the virtuosic four piece of Jose Rios, Ron Tnava Avant, Kelsey Gonzales, and Callum Connor, who have a self-titled album in the works set to feature collabs including recently deceased US rapper Mac Miller, Kali Uchis (who's heading our way in January), Chronixx, and Benny Sings. Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals are hitting Aotearoa in January for a hugely anticipated Auckland headline show with support from Nai Palm, while Nielson's Unknown Mortal Orchestra are back in full force this summer, touring alongside festival favourites Fat Freddy's Drop. Vibe out to 'Beauty & Essex' here...
You can catch Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals playing at Auckland's Logan Campbell Centre on Saturday 12th January with support from Nai Palm.
