Wellington's Molenaar Unleash Furious Collection 'Hate Not Phobia - Demo 2018'

Capital City filth-purveyors Molenaar have dropped a whiplashing seven-track debut collection, bearing the anti-discriminatory title Hate Not Phobia - Demo 2018. The four-piece blend elements of crust punk with Scandinavian-flavour D-beat and a dash of heavy metal for good measure. Insistent chugged power chords and distorted bass lay the foundation for bellowed and snarled vocal deliveries on fist-pumping numbers such as ‘Putrid Stench’ and ‘Mindlock’. The offering was recorded by Wellington punk / metal maesto Vanya Vitali in part at heavy music Mecca Valhalla, where the crew made their live debut just last weekend in support of stampeding Sydney-based punks Dark Horse.
