Wellington composer / producer Rhian Sheehan played a selection of tunes from his latest post-rock and ambient offering A Quiet Divide at the capitals’s Michael Fowler Centre on Friday night. Sheehan donned an electric guitar, multiple synthesisers and an almost-certainly AI-enabled pedalboard, accompanied by dazzling projected visuals and a formidable string section to lend life to his artistically ambitious arrangements. Sheehan will next be bringing his audio-visual extravaganza to Auckland in late October for two special nights at Q Theatre.
