US virtuoso multi-instrumentalist Thundercat has unveiled 'King of The Hill', a superstar collaboration with Canadian funk-loving jazz cats BADBADNOTGOOD and LA production maestro Flying Lotus. The titanic single has "summer jam" written all over it, impossibly smooth grooves and melt your mouth vocals spin a familiar tale of a man who squanders the considerable opportunities life's presented to him. The tune is drawn from Brainfeeder X, an upcoming compilation of label highlights and unreleased tracks in celebration of the 10th anniversary of Flying Lotus's Brainfeeder imprint, featuring BUSDRIVER, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Louis Cole, Ross From Friends, Dorian Concept, and WOKE (Flying Lotus, Shabazz Palaces, and Thundercat).
