Miss Blanks Drops Banging Single 'This Bitch' Feat. Dugong Jr

Australian hip hip artist and activist Miss Blanks caused a commotion with 2017's debut collection Diary Of A Thotaholic, and has now dropped powerful new club banger 'This Bitch' ahead of a return visit to Aotearoa this November. The groundbreaking artist was the first trans woman of colour to perform on Australia's national Laneway Festival lineup and is playing Red Bull / Vice events at Wellington's Club 121 on Wednesday 14th November and Auckland's Neck Of The Woods on Friday 16th November. Miss Blanks opened up via social media about the ideas surrounding 'This Bitch', which also showcases the skills of rising Australian producer Dugong Jnr, read her words and stream the track below...

"‘This B’ is reclaiming a term traditionally used against women and femmes, turned 180 upon the men who subjugate, gaslight and change narratives for their own self serving purposes. Society expects us to be women and femmes perfect, put on our best faces consistently, be the better person. ‘This B’ is about the pure pettiness that we deserve the right to have.

The song is a culmination of what my aftercare has come to look like within the parameters of the music landscape and artistic output, as well the duality of and who I am.

This is an important track, most probably some of my best work. I hope you enjoy the track."
