J Mascis Unveils Title Track To New Album 'Elastic Days' + Video

US alt-rock hero J Mascis of sonic leviathans Dinosaur Jr has a shared the title track for his upcoming solo record Elastic Days. The starry-eyed tune is filled with clean guitar chords and the songwriter's iconic heartfelt vocal inflections. The song's accompanying clip was directed by Shane Wahlund and Michael Anderson and stars drag queen superstar and self-described “tragic singer, horrible dancer and surreal raconteur” Dina Martina. The video is a blue screen adventure through a score of outfits, lip-synching and drifting, night-sky backgrounds - Mascis shared his excitement about Martina's involvement with the new clip...
