Christoph El Truento Shares Album 'LWMP18'
Auckland producer Christoph El Truento has unveiled his avidly anticipated 23 track collection LWMP18 via Berlin-via-Aotearoa independent label Cosmic Compositions, following his contribution to Tom Scott's project Avantdale Bowling Club and a clutch of recent beat tapes. Taking cues from juke and footwork yet stretching out into uncharted territory, LWMP18 is wide-ranging in its sampledelic, deeply zoned beat workouts, touching on jazz, R&B, baile funk and even featuring a flipped-inside-out rendition of 'Close To You' by The Carpenters titled 'Ydobirds'.
