The Beths Announce New Zealand Christmas Shows

Auckland guitar-pop rising stars The Beths have had an amazing year, releasing their internationally acclaimed debut album Future Me Hates Me, touring throughout the globe, and receiving props from such significant tastemakers as Pitchfork, NPR, Rolling Stone, triple j, Noisey, and Stereogum. To celebrate the summer season, they're throwing special Christmas parties in Auckland in Wellington with support from buds Laika, and are getting into the festive spirit by donating all profits from the events to Girls Rock Camp Aotearoa and Women’s Refuge. This will be your last chance to catch the incredibly catchy crew locally before they head back overseas for shows with Death Cab For Cutie across Europe and the UK, don't be a grumbly grinch and come along to the events below...

The Beths have continued from strength to strength since releasing their debut album Future Me Hates Me in August. They've received international acclaim from some of the biggest names in music like Pitchfork, NPR, Rolling Stone, triple j, Noisey, and Stereogum – and have played lots of shows around the world.

To celebrate, the band have announced two very special shows in Wellington and Leigh.

Coming off a huge world tour across North America and Europe and opening for Bloc Party on their Silent Alarm tour of NZ. This will be your last chance to catch the band on home turf before they embark on a trip across Europe supporting indie rock legends Death Cab For Cutie across Europe and the UK.

All proceeds going to Girls Rock Camp Aotearoa & Women’s Refuge.
