Caught Live: Green Grove Play Two Songs On 95bFM
The recording project of Auckland electronic artist Durham Fenwick, the five-piece live manifestation of Green Grove recently squeezed into the lounge area of 95bFM to dispense a couple of deeply zoned tunes for Freak the Sheep's Live and Direct sessions. Comprised of members of Yoko-Zuna, Bozo, Guardian Singles, Naenae Express, Peach Milk and probably more, the live supergroup rattled off a lush rendition of 'Sit Down' from Green Grove's breakthrough debut night music EP, along with a dreamlike untitled new number. It's a tantalising taste of what's to come as the live favourites are storming the stage this Friday at Flying Out's Claus For A Cause charity Christmas party, happening at Whammy, Whammy Backroom and The Wine Cellar. Prep yourself for the festive event with the superb footage below...
