Lime Cordiale Returning To New Zealand In February

Tuesday 18th December, 2018 1:03PM

Sydney's Lime Cordiale are returning to Aotearoa this February for a two date, sun-soaked North Island tour. Fronted by brothers Oliver Leimbach and Louis Leimbach, the duo dropped their debut album Permanent Vacation to much acclaim in 2017, just visited our shores in September and are rearing to get right back amongst it on New Zealand stages with their live band, stating “We told ourselves we’d get back to NZ as soon as possible. I know we have a lot already planned for 2019 so we’ve booked it in before we get told we need to be elsewhere! These shows are a must for us.”

Press release:

Sydney based brothers, Oli and Louis Leimbach are excited to announce a return to New Zealand for a series of shows due to popular demand.

Coming off the back of their sold out 27 date Aust and NZ ‘Dirt Cheap’ 2018 tour, Louis commented, ’New Zealand has a love for live music like nowhere else. We’re not complaining - if people are demand for us to come back for shows in their paradise land then I guess we just have to.

Since their last NZ dates, Lime Cordiale have been touring relentlessly across Australia, packing venues in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and giving fans a wild, sweaty, sexy swagger of a night out. A Lime Cordiale show is the hottest date in town and with all that touring, the band are match fit and as up for a good time as their fans.

Lime Cordiale’s debut album “Permanent Vacation” has topped the AIR Australian Independent Albums Charts, climbed to #15 on ARIA Australian Album Charts and sent them to The States, smashing out shows at SXSW before returning to play Groovin’ The Moo in Canberra.

In 2019 more international touring beckons with shows planned for the UK, the second year of Lime Cordiale’s own The Squeeze Festival and new music on the way too.

This might be your last chance to get up close and personal with Oli and Louis at these special small venue shows before they head out on bigger stages as their fan base grows.
