Listen To Fazed On A Pony's Fuzzy Single 'Natural Toast'

Tuesday 8th January, 2019 2:59PM

While we were soaking up rays at the beach last week, Dunedin indie rock five piece Fazed On A Pony snuck out a blissed-out summer jam titled 'Natural Toast'. The hook-laden number was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Steven John Marr at Radio One and is the lead single from the band's That's How The Light Gets In EP, due out in early February via local independent imprint trace / untrace records. Overflowing with fuzzy guitars and zig-zagging melodies, 'Natural Toast' gestures towards nineties jangle-pop bands of yore while singer / guitarist Peter McCall's casually delivered lyrics pack a sly punch. Something of an Otago supergroup, the newly expanded band features members of Space Bats Attack, Koizilla, The Rothmans, Beverly Drangus, Laney Blue and Mary Berry. They're gearing up for a nationwide tour in support of their new collection with more details to come, take a bite of Fazed On A Pony's 'Natural Toast' here...

'That's How The Light Gets In' is out this February via trace / untrace records.
