Stream Deerhunter's Shimmering Single 'Plains'

American indie-pop crew Deerhunter are saddling up for the release of their eighth studio album Why Hasn't Everything Already Disappeared? next week, and have shared a sparkling taster in the form of their new single 'Plains'. Drawing inspiration from the late life of US film icon James Dean, the snappy tune explores a sonic terrain of Texan pop-cultural mythos, embellished by some particularly woozy synths and sprightly percussion. The new album will touch on specific psycho-geographic points of interest from across the band's homeland, stream 'Plains' here...
'Why Hasn't Everything Already Disappeared?' is out on Friday 18th January on 4AD via Rhythmethod.
