Bay of Plenty residents dusted off their dancing shoes on Thursday for a mammoth line-up of long-standing and bright-burning US bands at A Summer’s Day Disco. The gargantuan roster included family smash-hitmakers The Jacksons (featuring the four surviving original members Jermaine, Jackie, Tito and Marlon), Jersey City funk mavericks Kool & The Gang, New York City’s costumed icons the Village People and the incomparable grooves of Sister Sledge.
