Saturday evening saw riotous Gold Coast duo CAKES (Muzai Records) team up with beloved Auckland-based post-punk four-piece Yukon Era to rock freshly relocated all ages super city venue The Vault, for the conclusion of last week's summer tour of Aotearoa. The sparsely lit room was the perfect conduit for the savage guitar tones and razor sharp riffs to enter into the ears of young listeners, and the evening's proceedings were opened up by Rockquest upstarts Barracuda Swim School.
