Christchurch bedroom-pop artist Pickle Darling's debut album Bigness has been a quiet sensation since it released on his birthday just two weeks ago, it's currently sitting at the top of New Zealand's Bandcamp charts and even broke into RMNZ's top ten album charts. Songwriter Lukas Mayo has unveiled a new video directed by Thomas Barrer and Nate Tamblyn for his reflective latest single 'Soft Cars', a suitably understated and whimsical work starring a Furby roaming around a suburban nightscape on the back of a remote control car. Cantabrian fans can catch the rising singer and producer playing in support of touring Welsh psych-folk songwriter Cate Le Bon at Blue Smoke on the 21st of February, watch 'Soft Cars' here...
