Caught Live: Melodownz Plays Two Songs On 95bFM

Avondale rap icon Melodownz had a winner of a year in 2018, he dropped his killer double EP Melo & Blues, joined forces with with fellow local heroes Ill Baz and Raiza Biza on their High Beams joint project, and even concocted his own signature brand of delicious hot sauce. On top of all that, Melodownz somehow found the time to swing by Auckland's Ellen Melville Centre to bust out a live set for 95bFM's Drive Island weekly series of free, all ages live-to-air events – returning for their first show of the year this Friday featuring Earthboogie and Bad Timing.

Melodownz has started off sprinting for 2019, his already legendary Laneway Festival 2019 performance with High Beams featured a cavalcade of Aotearoa hip hop celebs, and he's all set to tear it up this month at Red Bull Music 64 Bars Live in Auckland and Christchurch's Electric Avenue Music Festival.
