Jack Ladder '20 Golden Greats Vol. 2' New Zealand Shows Announced

Sydney-based tunesmith Jack Ladder is returning to our shores in May for a pair of special intimate solo shows at Auckland's Whammy Bar and Wellington's Valhalla. Ladder will present 20 Golden Greats Vol. 2, a two set, 20 song showcase of the smokey-voiced artist's extensive back catalogue encompassing five albums and counting – the sequel to a series of live retrospective events brought back due to "the financial success, personal and audience satisfaction of 'Jack Ladder Sings 20 Golden Greats'". Expect tantalising special guests, fresh takes on old classics, and a story or two from the inimitable Dreamlanders frontman, who promises to "draw you in, tell you secrets and leave you questioning their validity." His solo Kings Arms Tavern set last year in support of Alex Cameron was a real treat, mark these dates in your diary...

In August last year, Jack Ladder performed a series of intimate sold out solo shows playing 20 original songs per night across 2 sets. Due to the financial success, personal and audience satisfaction of 'Jack Ladder Sings 20 Golden Greats', he’s touring Australia and New Zealand for '20 Golden Greats Vol. 2’.

Volume 2 will delve deeper into his diverse back catalogue, injecting new life into the songs, recounting their strange origin stories and even stranger reception. Intimate and aloof, Ladder will draw you in, tell you secrets and leave you questioning their validity.

Vol. 2 will feature special secret guests and all your favourite songs from Not Worth Waiting For, Love is Gone, HURTSVILLE, Playmates and his critically acclaimed self-produced 2018 release Blue Poles.
