Assistant Editor Position Available at UTR

We are excited to announce the availability of a part-time Assistant Editor position at UTR.

We are looking for a serious music fan with proven writing and / or journalism skills to assist with daily news, editorial content and social media, 3 to 5 days a week (Monday to Friday, 9am to 12pm) at our headquarters in Arch Hill, Auckland.

The position requires someone who is up with current music goings-on, has a good knowledge / appreciation of various alternative music genres and movements, great attention to detail, and an interest in supporting our local music scenes across Aotearoa New Zealand.

This is a part-time contract role starting asap, with $$$ to be negotiated – don’t be expecting the big bucks though ;)
