Destroyer 666 + Bölzer Announce New Zealand Shows

Friday 1st March, 2019 1:20PM

Europe-via-Melbourne black thrash tour de force Destroyer 666 will be ram-raiding audiences’ eardrums in Aotearoa in May, performing material from their latest uncompromising aural assault, 2018’s Call of the Wild. The band began its long lineage in 1994, when unwholesomely named bandlander K.K. Warslut made his departure from cult war metal crew Bestial Warlust. Supporting the unholy racket-makers will be maniacal Swiss extreme duo Bölzer, returning to New Zealand for a second round of brain-blasting sonic insanity. Grip the details below...

Press Release:

DESTROYER 666 return to their homeland to do what they do best. Hammering out their gritty brand of blackened thrash metal with no compromise, no sell out & no bullshit! Sticking to their old school roots, DESTROYER 666 recently released the hard-hitting EP, Call of the Wild that comes with a distinct taste of an unrepentantly classic flavour. The unremorseful and unapologetic instincts remain fierce!

BÖLZER is an outlet and conduit for primal energies, its only source of inspiration being the extremities of nature and the inner self. True beauty and enlightenment are found athwart the peaks, amidst the shades. These are the songs that BÖLZER have heard reverberate from those places. Ascend and fall... emerge from nothingness a thunderbolt of flaming wisdom! Blessed be the conflagration of their mortal souls!
