Premiere: Cookie Brooklyn & The Crumbs Share Single 'Is There Logic In Pop?'
Wellington trio Cookie Brooklyn & The Crumbs synergises the unstoppable creative energy of singer / guitarist Mark Williams (Marineville) with the powerhouse rhythmic grooves of Nell Thomas and Erika Grant, both of intergalactic party-starters Orchestra Of Spheres. We're thrilled to premiere CB&TC's probing new single 'Is There Logic In Pop?', a wonky avant dance-pop jam posing an impossible to answer yet crucial quantum question. Their catchy new tune is accompanied by an equally mind-frying video directed by NZ-based French artist Guillaume Cailleau and starring dancer Leo J Molloy, dazzling viewers with strobing geometric patterns and hyper coloured snippets of the band doing their thing.
You can score a physical copy of the song in a delectable limited edition 7" vinyl edition, with three different cover options adeptly designed by Hans Pucket's Callum Devlin, at CB&TC's release party happening this Friday 8th March at Wellington's Caroline, supported by excellently named buds Warwick & the Wankers and visiting Berlin DIY dancemeisters Hunger. Buzz out to 'Is There Logic In Pop?' here...
