Listen To Go Nuclear's 'Necrophilia' EP
Auckland electronic duo Go Nuclear aka Clinton Watkins and Tim Checkley (Jizmatron, Hungry Eyes) are back with Necrophilia, a future-gazing five track collection of blistering "heavy elektrotekk" including a guest remix by Bass Agenda Recordings label mate Detroit's Filthiest. Go Nuclear deploy an army of MIDI slaves to assault listeners' ears with the unliving sounds of robo-revolution, with skittering electro drums and paranoid pulses recalling subaquatic innovators Drexciya, while on-edge synthetic rhythms and ominous sample snatches hint at Go Nuclear's own enigmatic machinations. The duo recently attracted the attention of underground dance figurehead DJ Stingray, who included Go Nuclear's tracks 'Exotic Dancer' and 'Time To Party' on his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix broadcast over the weekend.
