Heat Rockers Records Share Compilation 'Select AK Cuts 2'

Rising Auckland independent electronic dance imprint Heat Rockers Records have torn the lid off their second collection of club-focussed tunes since getting the ball rolling in mid-2018, with the snappily titled Select AK Cuts 2. Unified by a theme of "dark chords and driving drum beats", the compilation features five tracks from enigmatic local producers Fiend X, Jerry Tompkins, Lunar, DJ TALK, and Crunchymp3. Highlights from the all-killer collection include the interstellar techno grooves of Jerry Tompkins' 'Night Drive', the cheeky stuttering rhythms and pounding beats of DJ TALK's 'Dropped A Quid', and the moody house-inflected smooth ride of Fiend X's 'Bluey Track'.
