
Repulsive Woman Announces Single Release Tour
Dunedin's Repulsive Woman, the solo project of Millie Lovelock (Astro Children), is dropping a new single titled 'Rough Around the Edges' in late April and is celebrating with a trifecta of launch parties at Auckland's The Wine Cellar, Dunedin's St Paul's Cathedral and Wellington's Meow in May. 'Rough Around the Edges' is the lead track from Repulsive Woman's upcoming debut album Relief, recorded with Adelaide Dunn (Milpool) who also plays in Lovelock's touring band along with Julie Dunn (Mary Berry) and Olive Butler (Dunedin Symphony Orchestra, Laney Blue), supported in Auckland by Being. Dunedin's Repulsive Woman (Millie Lovelock, Astro Children) is releasing her first single and playing shows accompanied by her band in Dunedin, Wellington, and Auckland in celebration.
Rough Around the Edges will be the first release from Repulsive Woman ahead of her debut album, Relief, recorded with bandmate Adelaide Dunn in Dunedin in 2018 prior to Lovelock's time at the Red Bull Music Academy in Berlin.
Accompanying Lovelock are Adelaide Dunn (Milpool), Julie Dunn (Mary Berry), and Olive Butler (Dunedin Symphony Orchestra, Laney Blue), with support from Being.
Rough Around the Edges will be released April 29, 2019.
