Auckland's Blush Juliet Drop Debut Single 'Slide Into View' + Video

Auckland's Blush Juliet have just released their first single and they’re already announcing the band’s demise. The shoegazey, pop project is made up of Archi Banal (Civil Union), Emmanuel Sarmiento and Carb on Carb's Nicole Gaffney and James Stutely. Their debut track and video 'Slide Into View' is the perfect song for pining over your crush, without sacrificing your emo, grunge aesthetic. The fuzzy, lo-fi video filmed by Andrei Blidarean and Magdalena Hoult shows Banal and Sarmiento dancing around with guitars and angel wings, intercut with a sleepy car ride, making the whole video feel like disrupted, back-seat dreaming. Blush Juliet have an EP in the works and plan to play live just once before disappearing forever by the end of the month like a pop-up band, so catch them quick before it’s too late…
